Pencils, inks, and...

I had a little time the other night to ink a couple sketches of past Character Wednesday posts I neglected.  Get it, " catch up." Sorry for the ultra-lame wordplay.

The first is totally a riff from Blue Beetle #1. Second, is some chick from the X-Men...she's got brain powers or something.

Sketched up a quick Conan last night and put some inks on a not-so-new sketch of the Mouse.  I tend to not do cute. I mean, what's cute about taming the wild goat?

This week's Character Wednesday pick is the super obscure Satan's Robot. Enjoy the quick cell phone pic while I look for time to ink.

Work in progress for a new cap illustration/sketch. Bonus - click thru for an awesome reference pic.

UPDATED - The first step to my process is to use a non-photo blue pencil to try and remember how to draw.  The next step is to redraw with ink and brush.  Insert clever "tracer" joke here.
